You’ll be able to ask advice from local teaching colleagues but don’t forget to bring your own creativity and ideas into the classroom, this is your chance to shine! With weekends off and a great salary to enjoy, you will have a long list of sightseeing and travel plans. Cultural excursions

Wondering what you’re going to do with your precious free time? We’re glad you asked! We know your adventure bucket list is long, but make sure you tack these recommendations from past TEFL interns in Thailand towards the top!

    Thailand

Buzzing Bangkok is worth a deeper look. Forego Khao San chaos for a ride along the Khlong Saen Saep to the city’s older neighborhoods.

    Food

Hit up the 7/11 for foodie fun. Banana marshmallows, strawberry milkshake potato chips, fried chicken skin, milk in a can. It’s fun. And definitely weird.

    Activity

If you're teaching in the fall, you’ll love Loy Kratong, the “Festival of Lights.” Floating candles are sent down waterways to honor the river goddess.
