Your Teaching Experience

Let’s get this verb conjugation party started! Your four-day welcome orientation—complete with a Great Wall visit—is your first taste of it all.

You’ll be guided through the cultural do’s and don’ts for the classroom and beyond, meet and mingle with fellow teachers, and participate in practical workshops to build your confidence and prepare for your first day of work. After all, that’s coming up quick!

TEFL interns in China are placed for four to five months in provinces nationwide, including Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, and Hebei.

Expect to work in public and private schools or language centers, where your students’ ages will range from kindergarten to university-level. Beyond your ~15 hours of teaching Monday-Friday, you’ll have ~20 hours to prepare future lessons and activities each week.

You’ll feel right at home thanks to our local knowledge and professional support!
